Why Ignite Groups?
The better question is “Why Self Leadership?”
Because everything you want in life, you’re going to have to lead yourself to it. Whether it’s a job, relationship, lifestyle, or who you want to be. Nothing is going to influence you more than you!
Self Leadership is: Identifying and Creating a Deliberate Future rather than a Default Future. To do this requires you to become an expert at using “tools” to help you get there and while most of us are familiar with these tools, we’re not experts at wielding them.
I know what a chisel is. I know what a hammer is. I can even use a hammer and chisel to shape a bit of wood - and I might accidentally end up creating something awesome. But if I’m honest, that awesome “thing” was an accident. I’m not proficient with a hammer and chisel.
A mastercraftsman or expert with a hammer and chisel is able to create exactly what they want with the tools - every movement is calculated and effective. It takes them closer to their final goal - and before you know it - they have created their masterpiece.
During Ignite Groups, the tools you discover will build proficiency are: Curiosity, Risk & Vision. These tools are the foundation of effective Self Leadership.
Curiosity

Risk
Risk has a dirty name! Discover the benefits of becoming a “risky” person. There’s more than one kind of risk and it’s important to know what kinds of risks are worth taking!
Growth doesn’t happen without Risk - if you want to grow yourself then you are going to need to become an expert at taking Risks. In your Ignite group you will become comfortable with the right kind of risks as you practise taking Risks to produce the growth you want in your life.
Vision
Vision is what sets the course of where we want to go and calls us towards it. The right vision will compel us to into a future that is currently beyond our horizon. If you want to do Vision well, it’s important to learn how to use Vision to create energy and momentum.
In Ignite Groups we discover how to use vision to create a picture of the future that draws us into it and requires massive action. Wielding vision as a powerful tool inspires us to take action and move us to where we want to be.

What happens in an Ignite Group?
For 1 hour a week, over 8 weeks you meet with a team to begin to explore what you are capable of. We meet in person or over the internet, with the same group.
Have you ever had a meal where you know the ingredients, but somehow the cook or chef has put them all together in a way that changes how you view food forever? A perfect Margherita Pizza? A slice of cheesecake? Maybe it's a steak? Or an ice cream sundae?
Ignite groups have been written and assembled with a Secret Sauce. Our Secret Sauce is how Ignite groups are presented. It involves Exposure, Experimentation and Examination. Led by Lead Different certified Ignite coaches who are trained to serve you with Honesty and Integrity in order to give you maximum opportunity for Growth.
Exposure
The first step in the Ignite Group is exposure to new information. But we know that just dumping information on you doesn't do much. So we don’t just stop at information.
The information presented at Ignite groups has the potential to be powerful, but until you begin to DO something with the information it's worthless - so we don’t stop at just giving information, we keep moving to the next stage.
Experiment
Each week you are given the opportunity to experiment within your own life. To try on new attitudes and ideas and see what results you get. This opportunity to experiment in your own life is a major part of the Secret Sauce.
Experimentation is how the information begins to gain power to make an impact. The experimentation is where the rubber hits the road, and the real fun begins!
Examine
"The unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates
Once you have experimented with the information and tried on some new beliefs and behaviours, we reflect on the effect on your life and performance. No one is forced to do anything or change, but now you are aware of how you are leading yourself.
